Cohen may be 9 months old, but I’ve yet to do ANYTHING with his room.

When he was born we were living at my mom’s, waiting to buy a house, so obviously there was no nursery plans in place at the time.  Then we moved.  We renovated.  I survived the early months of sleep deprivation and now I’m ready to give my little boy a finished room….HOPEFULLY by his 1st birthday!

A full wall of board and batten behind the crib is definitely in my mind.  I’ve never done a DIY like that, so this will be fun interesting! The room probably be blue, but not too obviously baby blue…a bit more of a sophisticated blue.  Other than that, the room will be mostly essentials –  crib, dresser/changing table, glider, and I’ll do the picture ledge bookshelves like I did in Kennedy’s old nursery (they’re actually in her new room too…a “big girl” room will be coming after the nursery is completed so I’ll post pics then).

Hopefully I can get started in the next couple of weeks whenever Alex can be home and help out with all the board cutting and baby watching.
